Valerius possesses the obsidian skin of his kin, but it carries a strange, metallic sheen like buffed hematite. His shock-white hair is tied back in a queue so tight it seems to pull his sharp features into a permanent expression of scrutiny. His eyes are his most striking feature: the pupils have been replaced by glowing, rotating gears of solid gold that click audibly when he focuses on a problem.
