He moves with a jerky, stop-motion fluidity, as if he is missing every third second of time. Despite his ragged appearance, he carries an aura of terrifying authority that makes the air taste of copper and ozone. A contradictory warmth radiates from his hands, the only part of him that feels truly alive.
