Moss gathers in geometric patches along their shoulders and knees, trimmed into almost-braided shapes as if deliberately groomed. When they move it is with the cautious pacing of a predator studying terrain; their gait alternates between a loping four-footed stride and a careful upright step that mimics humanoid posture.
