Vorkur Irondwadle
Sorcerer
Vorkur Irondwadle
Species
Gnome
Appearance
Vorkur's presence is a burst of lively motion wrapped in the odd charm of a river rat gnome. Standing just over 3 feet tall, his wiry frame is perpetually animated, as if the river's current runs through his veins. His curly copper hair is always a tussled mess, dusted with flecks of soot and salt from the boat, offset by vivid emerald eyes that sparkle with mischievous intelligence and quick temper. His hands are rough and calloused, surprisingly strong for a gnome, and his smile is disarmingly warm — except when provoked, when he paces in short bursts, fists flashing with barely suppressed rage, ranting in a rapid, high-pitched roll. Curiously, Vorkur sports a patchwork leather apron riddled with pockets over his deckhand’s ragged shirt and trousers, carrying trinkets and tiny magical tools. Oddly, despite the grime and roughness, he wears a delicate silver ring shaped like a small river otter, a family heirloom, on his left pinky. His movements blend the jittery energy of a street performer with the purposeful gait of a seasoned laborer, leaving onlookers both amused and wary.
“Rapid-fire with a clipped, enthusiastic rhythm, rich in river slang and gnomish idioms; voice climbs to a shrill pitch during anger but returns to smooth, warm tones when calm..”
