Level 6·Non-binary·Small
Chaotic Good

Species

Nilbog Goblin

Appearance

A small, springy goblin with an ever-smiling mouth and a coat of shabby patchwork garb draped like a motley curtain. Grik'tal walks with a jaunty, unpredictable hop, as if their feet insist on telling jokes separate from their brain. Their cart is a carnival of battered boxes, glittering trinkets, and jars labeled in squiggled handwriting. Around their neck hangs a thin, bent wand of twisted wood — the Nilbog wand — wrapped in faded ribbons. When the sun catches the ribbons, they seem to wink. Contradictory element: despite the bright, chaotic clothing and prankster manner, Grik'tal's eyes track people with a quiet, almost priestly focus, lingering on the wounds of strangers as if cataloging them.

Height3'2" (0.97 m)
BuildSmall, lithe, and wiry — quick in the joints and always poised to dart
EyesAmber flecked with a single, faintly luminescent emerald speck in the left iris
HairSparse, wiry black tufts braided with tiny beads and bits of string
SkinMottled moss-green with a smattering of pale freckled scars

Quick, sing-song cadence with a habit of ending sentences on a small, theatrical gasp. Uses puns and half-true stories as currency; slips into hushed tones when offering solace or invoking a blessing.”

Bent Nilbog wand wound with numerous ribbons

A smudge of grease always on the right cheek (ritual? grease? snack?)

Left ear pierced three times with a different-coloured bead in each hole

A smile that seems to widen when trouble walks nearby

Voice

High, nimble, and conspiratorial — quick to giggle, able to turn serious and low when invoking a blessing or threat

Clothing

Patchwork motley of mismatched fabrics, small bells sewn into hems, a too-large patched courtier's lapel, leather arm bracers lined with tiny pockets for tools, and a stained apron full of sewing needles, thorns, and odd coins

Body Language

Always in motion: fiddling with ribbons, tapping a knuckle twice before speaking, tilting their head to one side at moments of sincerity; spreads arms theatrically when telling stories
