Sahrin Val-Ȧzur
Warlock (Hexblade Patron, Pact of the Blade)
Sahrin Val-Ȧzur
Species
Half-Elf (Coastal Val-Ȧzur heritage)
Appearance
Sahrin moves like a man who has learned to balance on narrow ledges and rolling decks: fluid, always a hair's breadth from falling into a graceful pose. His left forearm is banded in pale, raised sigils that glow faintly when he speaks of the sea; the markings crawl like ink when he is angry. He keeps one boot scuffed and salt-stiff while the other is almost pristine, as if he steps between two worlds. He favors half-open collars and a sash with knots tied in a child's sequence — knots his late sister taught him. Up close, his smile is warm but doesn't reach a thin, old scar that splits his right eyebrow. Unexpectedly, he carries a battered porcelain teacup in a pouch at his belt, wrapped in oilskin, and pauses to drink from it when thinking.
“Measured, often soft; uses maritime metaphors and collects local idioms. When lying, his sentences become laced with short pauses and slightly too-precise details.”

Distinguishing Features
Raised, glowing sigils circling the left forearm
Thin scar through the right eyebrow
Streak of silver hair at the temple
Carries a porcelain teacup in an oilskin pouch
Mismatched boots
Voice
“A low, sand-grained tenor with a lilt from the southern harbors; voice softens when he talks of his sister or the sea.”
Clothing
Dark-blue studded leather over a loose linen shirt, a rust-red sash with many sewn-on tokens, a weathered three-quarter cloak that sheds salt like a cat sheds fur, fingerless leather gloves, and a pair of mismatched boots (one plain black, one high-sea riding boot).
Body Language
Keeps an open chest but rarely reaches out; palms often face upward when speaking to show he has nothing to hide (and to hide the sigils on his arm). Moves his head a little to the left when thinking of a lie.
