Thurka Varruun
Barbarian
Thurka Varruun
Species
Goliath
Appearance
Thurka’s massive frame is an imposing yet quietly humble presence. Standing over 7 feet tall, her bare skin is a patchwork of pale gray stone-like tattoos swirling across her shoulders, chest, and arms—each symbol etched by her tribe to mark survival and resilience. Her head is entirely smooth and unblemished of hair, revealing faint, silvery scars running from temple to nape, like ancient riverbeds. Her eyes are a piercing twilight blue, soft but watchful. Her movements are unexpectedly light and deliberate, almost cautious, betraying the paradox of a barbarian who edges through the world with shy reserve. Her voice is soft but carries the weight of granite mountains. Despite her bulk, she wears simple, weathered leather garments softened with mountain moss dyes, and a woven cloak that slips noiselessly over her shoulders, making her presence less fearful than expected. An odd contradiction: though intimidating, she often fidgets with a small carved stone pendant, a keepsake she hides beneath her cloak.
“Soft-spoken, slow and measured with occasional clipped tribal phrases; uses few words, but chooses them meaningfully.”
