Valerius stands with a hauntingly still posture, his skin the color of polished obsidian which reflects candlelight like dark water. His most striking feature is a pair of glowing amber eyes that lack pupils, radiating a warmth that contradicts his demonic heritage. He moves with a fluid, predatory grace, though he often stops mid-stride to listen to things others cannot hear. One of his thick, recurved horns is snapped off halfway, the jagged end capped with a delicate silver bell that strangely produces no sound even when shaken.
