Tashmar Kellen
Ranger (Hunter Conclave)
Tashmar Kellen
Species
Human (Riverfolk of Lirenn)
Appearance
Tashmar moves like someone who has walked the bank of the same river for decades: fluid, patient, with the small pauses of someone timing their steps to hidden currents. His skin is salt-darkened and freckled in a map across his nose and forearms; his left forearm bears a faded band of blue dye — the Riverhold mark — and a thin pale scar like a crescent moon where a net once caught his arm. He wears his long hair braided into a single rope that hangs over his shoulder, threaded with tiny riverglass beads and a single carved bone tooth. His clothing is patched, layered, and deliberately unremarkable: a moss-brown cloak with a hood, a weathered studded-leather vest, and trousers damp at the hem. Unexpectedly, he keeps one immaculate item: a silver filigree brooch in the shape of a heron, always polished to a mirror shine that contrasts with the rest of his soot-streaked appearance.
“Low, river-soft voice with clipped consonants. Uses folk metaphors — 'water remembers' — and rarely asks a question without letting it hang for a beat.”

Distinguishing Features
Faded crescent scar on left forearm
Single braided hair rope threaded with riverglass beads
Immaculate silver heron brooch that never tarnishes
Freckle constellation across nose and cheeks
Voice
“Low, slightly husky from years of wind and smoke; calm but with a quick edge when angered. Right-ear hearing loss causes him to occasionally ask for repetition, often missing the last syllable.”
Clothing
Layered river-worn leathers and a moss-brown hooded cloak; fingerless gloves, shallow-soled boots; always a silver heron brooch over his heart
Body Language
Tends to lean with his weight toward the river; when uncomfortable he will pluck at his braided cord. Keeps hands visible, palms often flared open when speaking to show no hidden weapons.
