Portho Small-Shadow Tealeaf
Paladin (Oath of Devotion)
Portho Small-Shadow Tealeaf
Species
Lightfoot Halfling
Appearance
Portho stands exactly three feet tall but carries himself with the rigid posture of a cathedral pillar. He wears heavy plate armor that has been polished to such a high sheen it reflects the grass and sky, acting as a strange form of camouflage. His most striking feature is his movement: despite the heavy metal, he steps with a silent, feline grace characteristic of his lineage. He carries a massive tower shield that is nearly as large as he is, embossed with the image of a steaming loaf of bread. Contradicting his martial readiness is a pair of delicate, gold-rimmed spectacles perched on his nose and a constant scent of aged balsamic and lavender that follows him.
“Portho speaks with a resonant, baritone voice that sounds like it should belong to a man twice his size. He uses elaborate culinary metaphors for everything, describing a well-executed ambush as a 'perfectly reduced glaze' or a stubborn enemy as 'day-old sourdough'.”
