Brenn Tallowroot
Commoner
Brenn Tallowroot
Species
Human
Appearance
Rough-hewn and wind-weathered, he looks as if he grew out of the forest itself. His hands are split at the fingertips from years of handling rope and bark. He moves with the slow, inexorable economy of someone who knows where every root and hollow is beneath his boots. Contradiction: when he laughs he claps his hands like a child and ducks his head in embarrassment, revealing a neat row of tiny carved wooden birds hidden in the inside of his cloak.
“Plainspoken with a rural cadence, sprinkles conversations with woodcraft metaphors and seasonal sayings.”
