Aerelyn stands an unforgettable 9'4" with a posture that is both cathedral-straight and oddly casual. She wears her honey-brown hair in a long, loose braid that swings like a pendulum when she walks; the braid is threaded with tiny silver charms shaped like closed eyes. Her hazel eyes are rimmed in faint ashen shadow that looks like sleep, and they study people with the slow steadiness of a clock. She carries the presence of a scholar and a mourner: quick, economical gestures of someone used to directing others, but a soft, lingering touch when she inspects the dead or a relic. Unexpectedly, her fingers—callused from armor and prayer beads—are always immaculate, nails filed to crescents and polished, a contradiction between battlefield readiness and ritual meticulousness.
