His hair is clipped close along the sides while a single shoulder-length braid falls over his right collarbone, threaded with a small iron ring engraved with his order's sigil. Scars pale like old map lines cross his left cheek and the web between his thumb and index finger. His plate and mail shine but bear dents and careful repairs; patches of leather near the elbows show oil rubs from constant maintenance. Unexpectedly, tucked beneath his armor at the small of his back, is a faded child's drawing folded into a wax-sealed bundle.
