Aelaryn Scalesinger
Bard
Aelaryn Scalesinger
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
Tall and lithe for a dragonborn, she moves like a melody given form. Her scales are a pearlescent ash that catch light like worn silver, and along her spine faint blue luminescence pulses when she speaks. Her face is narrow with an expressive mouth that can soften into disarming smiles or flatten into a mask of distance. Unexpectedly delicate hands end in clawed tips she decorates with rings and threads of dyed leather. When she performs she favors fluid, theatrical gestures and a slow, almost catlike sway. Contradiction: though she projects hot-blooded intensity onstage, she often pulls her hood up and reads alone in quiet corners between shows.
“Velvety and melodic onstage, clipped and economical when offstage.”
