Ma'rith Vinesong
Cleric (Aj'Snaga tradition)
Ma'rith Vinesong
Species
Lamia
Appearance
Ma'rith stands taller than most lamia, an arresting figure of measured motion. Her human torso is wrapped in pale, pearlescent scales that catch torchlight like frost. Silver hair is braided into a coronet of living vines that bloom faint white flowers when she intones a vow. Her lower serpentine coils are banded with stitched green thread in clan patterns that move almost imperceptibly as if breathing. The palms of her hands are inked with filigreed vows in permanent black ritual-ink; the lines weave up her wrists and sometimes pulse with a dull, greenish glow when she speaks of law or oath. Unexpectedly, she wears a child's yellow ribbon tied to one braid, a small, incongruent token that softens her severe silhouette.
“Formal, measured, and punctuated by ritual aphorisms. She sometimes slips ledger-phrases into casual speech to remind listeners of precedent.”
