Sylraen moves like a wind through reed — quick-footed, sinuous, always on the edge of attention. Her brown-red fur is mottled with copper streaks along the spine and pale ivory at throat and muzzle. She favors layered traveling clothes that look worn but meticulously repaired: a soot-dark duster with hidden pockets, a patchwork scarf woven from many towns' textiles, and a wide leather belt hung with tiny pouches, glass vials, and a battered codex. Her tail is often wrapped in a strip of green cloth braided with tiny bells that jingle softly when she walks; she keeps one paw perpetually stained with indigo ink. Unexpectedly, she wears a pair of small brass spectacles with no visible lenses — the frames are enchanted, and she glances through them when reading runes though they are blank to others. Her movement blends fox-like curiosity with the deliberate gestures of a scholar, giving the impression she is always both buying and cataloging the world.
