Thasorin Val-Ur
Cleric (Knowledge/Domineering Order of the Platinum Scale)
Thasorin Val-Ur
Species
Human (Templar Heritage)
Appearance
Thasorin moves with the slow, deliberate cadence of someone who has spent decades in quiet rites. He carries the dust of the temple in the creases of his robes and the pale sheen of old incense on his fingertips. His face is narrow and angular, a habitually furrowed brow above a long nose; a faint silvering scar traces from his left temple down into his beard where a shard of carved dragonstone once nicked him. He wears a heavy iron amulet in the shape of an abstracted dragon head—its eyes are dull glass, one cracked—and a single gauntlet with plated runes on his right hand, mismatched to his bare left wrist. When he walks he leans slightly as if listening to some internal rhythm; in the sudden presence of injustice his posture snaps upright like a drawn spear. Unexpectedly, his left eye is milky and blind, but when he speaks as a sermon his voice makes that blind eye seem to look straight through a listener.
“Measured, low, and stately; he uses archaic terms and occasionally lapses into liturgical chant when moved. His sentences are often balanced—two clauses, like a scale.”

Distinguishing Features
Scar slashing from temple to beard (dragonstone nick)
Blind left eye that still tracks movement oddly
Heavy iron dragon-head amulet with cracked glass eye
Single rune-plated gauntlet on right hand
Voice
“Low, resonant, and steady; capable of iron-forged thunder when enraged but more often calm enough to quiet a room.”
Clothing
Layered temple robes in faded platinum and deep cobalt: a heavy outer cope embossed with a stylized dragon wing, inner linen bands stained by rituals, and a leather baldric bearing prayer tablets. He wears simple leather boots, wrapped and repaired many times.
Body Language
Hands are almost always busy with a bead, cloth, or the edge of his amulet; when offended he stands very straight, head tilting slightly back to showcase the scar and the gauntlet; he refuses to cross thresholds directly.
