Captain Vyram Bloodbale moves with a predator’s grace, every step measured like a well-timed stroke of his cutlass. His skin is a mottled gray-blue, taut and almost translucent in places, revealing black veins pulsing faintly with necrotic energy. His beard is a mass of congealed, red-tinged blood strands, dripping slowly yet never dissipating, twisting and writhing as though alive. His eyes burn a deep embers’ orange, a sharp contrast to the deathly pallor of his flesh. Unlike the expected ragged pirate garb, Vyram dons a once-fine leather frock coat, now cracked and faded, embroidered with ancient runes in dried blood thread. Tattered black silk gloves with finger bones poking through, and heavy boots adorned with barnacles and rusted iron spikes, complete the fearsome figure. Despite his fearsome visage, he often hums a melancholy sea shanty, the sound haunting and somber. Unexpectedly, a delicate silver locket — polished and shiny — hangs from his neck beneath his coat, a rare relic of tenderness.
