Level 15·Female·Medium
Lawful Good (with uncompromising streaks)

Species

Half-Orc

Appearance

Hrukara moves like a woman who has carried children on her hips and enemies on her back. Her face is broad and lined, the left cheek bearing a pale crescent of scar tissue scored when she once blocked a blade with bare skin. She keeps her tusks filed and ornamented with a single silver ring braided with a child's red thread. Her motions are deliberate, heavy when angered but gentle when tending others; she uses a limp in her left stride from a knee wound years ago, which she hides beneath long, layered skirts. Unexpectedly, she loves delicate jewelry — mismatched glass beads and tiny bells sewn to the cuffs of her travel cloak, which chime softly when she laughs or approaches a doorway.

Height6'2"
BuildBroad-shouldered and powerful but softened by maternal roundness at the hips and chest
EyesHoney-brown flecked with gold
HairSalt-and-pepper (mostly black with streaks of silver) braided into a thick plait wrapped in faded red cloth
SkinOlive-gray with warm undertones and a pale crescent scar on the left cheek

Low, rough but resonant — she uses short declarative sentences in public, swears in the old trade-tongue when angry, and sings soft lullabies in the common dialect when alone with children..”

Distinguishing Features

Pale crescent scar on left cheek

Filed tusks with a single silver ring and red thread

Limp in left leg from an old battle wound

Tiny bells and beads sewn into cloak cuffs — an incongruous, gentle flourish

Voice

Rumpled alto with a gravel undertone; she laughs with a short exhale and scolds with a hard consonant. When singing lullabies, her voice softens and becomes unexpectedly lilting.

Clothing

Worn but well-cared-for plate cuirass over a patched woolen tunic, a stained but embroidered apron folded at the belt, a heavy travel cloak studded to hold herbs, and soft leather boots. Small bells and glass beads are sewn to cuffs and hem. A child's tiny knitted doll is tucked into a pouch at her hip.

Body Language

Hands always available to touch — a pat, a guiding grip, a hand on a shoulder. Stands squared and wide when protecting, slightly hunched when tired; fingers constantly find the edge of her shield or the braid at her hair when thinking.
