Sylas Thistle-Tongue
Alchemist Artificer
Sylas Thistle-Tongue
Species
Wood Elf
Appearance
Sylas has the deep copper skin of his Wood Elf people, but it is marred by glossy, amber-colored scars on his forearms where various resins have burned him. His eyes are a piercing, unnatural violet, a permanent side effect of inhaling experimental fumes. He moves with a jittery precision, his hands constantly twitching toward the many pouches on his belt. The most striking feature is his tongue, which is textured with tiny, sandpaper-like papillae that look like a thistle's surface, often stained dark blue from testing reagents. Despite his rugged, outdoorsy wood elf heritage, he smells intensely of ozone and dried lavender.
“His speech is rapid-fire and academic, often interrupted by a dry, clicking sound from his textured tongue..”
