Zinnia Ink-Finger Silverglimmer
Bard
Zinnia Ink-Finger Silverglimmer
Species
Gnome
Appearance
Zinnia is a tiny, hunched figure with skin the texture of crumpled vellum and deep-set eyes the color of spilled violet ink. Her hair was once a brilliant indigo but has mostly bleached into a wispy, cloud-like white that floats around her head as if underwater. She moves with a jerky, avian rhythm, her head cocking to the side as she 'listens' to the air. The most striking element is the heavy, tarnished silver war-horn strapped to her back, which she never uses for music; instead, it is packed with soil and grows a vibrant patch of blue snapdragons that trail over her shoulder.
“Her speech is melodic but punctuated by long pauses where she seems to be searching for a specific, perfect word. She frequently uses metaphors related to weaving, ink, and textiles.”

Permanently ink-stained fingertips on her right hand
A silver war-horn used as a flower pot

“Crackling and dry, like dry leaves skittering across pavement, but capable of a resonant, bell-like clarity when she performs.”
Clothing
A moth-eaten scholar's robe layered under a sturdy leather vest with dozens of tiny, bulging pockets. She wears a necklace made of smoothed sea-glass and dried acorns.
Body Language
Fidgety and expressive. She uses her hands to 'draw' the air while speaking and often leans in uncomfortably close to inspect people's jewelry or facial scars.
