Hierophant Valerius Thorne
Arch-Druid of the Sunless Grove
Hierophant Valerius Thorne
Species
High Elf (Void-Touched)
Appearance
Valerius possesses a frail, almost ethereal frame that seems to hover slightly above the ground. His skin is the color of bleached bone and has the papery texture of ancient parchment. Most unsettling are his eyes: two spheres of solid, polished obsidian that leak a slow, silvery mist instead of tears. He moves with a liquid grace that lacks the rhythmic bounce of a living heart. The air around him is perpetually still, even in high winds, and small, colorless flowers sprout in his footsteps, only to turn to grey ash seconds later.
“Soft, rhythmic, and heavy with floral metaphors. He uses 'we' and 'our' even when referring to himself, suggesting a collective consciousness.”
