Eirathil of the Weeping Barrow
Hag
Eirathil of the Weeping Barrow
Species
Hag
Appearance
She moves like smoke sliding off hot stone: deliberate, inevitable. Her hair is a waterfall of ink that never quite settles, threaded with dried petals and a single bone comb carved with runes. Her face is the thing that arrests breath and makes folk step back: impossibly smooth, youthfully full, but forever contorted as if under the weight of endless weeping. Tears run in bright, viscous strings of silver and rust-colored blood that leave little glowing tracks where they fall. Around her wrists the skin looks slightly translucent, and beneath that translucence faint runes pulse when she uses magic. Her gait is calculated, sometimes limping as if remembering a different body. She wears a curious, contradictory smile when bargaining and a human child's grimace when she weeps aloud.
“Slow, syrupy cadence, often speaking as if each sentence were a bargain. She repeats key words under her breath.”

Translucent runes pulsing beneath the skin on the inner wrists
A bone comb that seems to click on its own when danger is near
Necklace of tiny silver bells that never ring around others
Voice
“A wet, lyrical voice that often sounds like someone crying softly just out of tune; it makes listeners involuntarily look around.”
Clothing
A layered dress of moth-eaten velvet and courtly trim that looks expensive until you see the hand-stitched seams and hidden pockets. She wears a shawl of dyed spider silk that glitters with trapped dew and a necklace made from tiny silver bells that never quite ring on their own.
Body Language
She generally tilts her head to the left when intrigued, fingers constantly plucking at the bone comb in her hair. While listening she leans forward as if trying to inhale sound.
