Elyra Vaelthir
Sorcerer
Elyra Vaelthir
Species
Eladrin
Appearance
Elyra moves like water over glass, deliberate and serene. Her long robes shimmer with a subtle iridescence that seems to shift between deep indigo and moonlit silver depending on the angle of the light. A fine pattern of runes threads the hem and cuffs, embroidered with silver wire and tiny amethysts. Her left forearm is wrapped in a patchwork of darker leather bracers that look like they were once many things stitched together: a strip of travelling saddle, a scrap of a wyrm-slayer's banner, and a child's doll shawl. When she concentrates the veins at her temples glow faintly violet. Unexpectedly, she keeps a small, battered wooden pulley tied to her belt which she fiddles with between spells, the pulley making a soft, cheerful creak that contrasts with her otherwise cool bearing.
“Measured and musical; uses coastal metaphors and often frames statements as observations rather than directives.”
