Vira Thaloren
Commoner
Vira Thaloren
Species
Elf
Appearance
Willowy elven woman who stands stiffly like a reed in the wind. Her posture is precise, shoulders back, chin slightly raised. She moves with a taught economy of motion, as if she is always conserving time. Her hands are ink-stained at the fingertips and one fingernail is permanently cracked from long use of a quill. Her desk-smock has a neat patch of soot near the hem where she once burned papers in a brazier and forgot to move them. Unexpectedly, a thin braided leather cord of children's beads is knotted into the inside of her left sleeve where she hides it from view.
“Precise articulation, clipped syllables when annoyed, small ironic inflections when amused.”
