Tharun Korrh-Ur
Species
Goliath
Appearance
Tharun is a massive, soft-featured goliath whose bald skull is wrapped in ornate, curling tattoos—thin interlocking bands that shine faintly when he laughs or strains. His face is unexpectedly round for his height, cheeks carrying a perpetual hint of warmth; small folds gather at his jaw rather than the chiselled planes typical of his kin. He moves with surprising slowness and deliberation, as if each step tastes the world first, then decides to take it. When he draws a weapon his bulk fills a doorway like a riverbank, but when he rests against a post he resembles a sun-warmed boulder that people sit on. One contradictory detail: his skin is soft and golden to the touch, almost like polished honey, which is at odds with the deep battle scars scored across his forearms. Under certain light his tattoos appear almost metallic, and his gray eyes have a steady, comfortable gleam instead of the usual glare of the mountain folk.
“Speaks in low, rolling tones with an accent that drags certain consonants; uses folksy metaphors (stones, mountains, cartwheels). He softens syllables around children and hardens them when discussing obligations.”

Distinguishing Features
Curving metallic-look tattoos across scalp and temples
Round, friendly face with dimpled cheeks
Battle-scarred forearms with faint white raised keloids
Soft, golden skin that contradicts his hulking frame
A chipped brass tooth on the lower left
Voice
“Deep, rumbling baritone with a gravelly warmth; slow cadence that can become clipped when angry.”
Clothing
Worn chain mail with a braided leather belt, a thick travel cloak patched in mismatched colors, linen shirt visible at the collar, heavy leather boots, and an old woolen scarf he uses as a napkin or a tourniquet. He wears small copper trinkets threaded into the belt: a carved bone tusk, a brass coin stamped with an unfamiliar clan mark, and a little mirror.
Body Language
Opens stance to make others comfortable; folds hands over belly when thinking; squats rather than sitting when among children; rubs his thumbs over the brass coin when nervous.
