Deity
Appearance
A spectacled human woman tall enough to dwarf mortal scholars yet lithe in motion. Her robe is a field of midnight embroidered with shifting constellations that rearrange when she reads or speaks. She wears a brimmed wizard hat whose underside shows a tiny moving map of libraries she remembers. Her spectacles are thin-framed and when she blinks constellations tumble like punctuation. She moves with the cautious precision of a librarian handling a fragile grimoire but at times will move like a wind through stacked shelves, sudden and startling. The unexpected element: one hand is always ink-stained with many colors while the other is spotless and seems to erase faint traces of words as she passes, as if she both writes and unwrites reality.
“Measured, punctuated by soft editorial asides; often dresses statements as citations or asides; uses a formal, archival vocabulary when angry.”
