Appearance
Garric moves with the economy of a man who has spent years loading wagons and reading terrain. He stands squared and presentable but never rigid. His armor bears the faint curved gouges of river stones and the dark mottled stains of caravan spice markets. Across his left forearm is a faded leather bracer stitched with the outline of a small hawk. He keeps a folded scrap of a faded traveler's map tucked under his breastplate where the metal is worn thinner; when he adjusts it his fingers rub the edges like a small ritual. Unexpectedly, his right boot is always impeccably polished while his gloves are perpetually caked in dust, a contradiction that unsettles those who meet him.
“Gruff, economical, and direct. Uses a measured cadence when negotiating, and short clipped words when stressed.”

Distinguishing Features
Faded hawk-bracer sewn to his leather armguard
Small thin white scar along the left eyebrow from a river stone
Right boot always polished while gloves remain dusty
Voice
“Low and steady; rarely raised. Voice softens when speaking to children or injured animals.”
Clothing
Layered travel garb: scuffed chain shirt over a heavy wool doublet, patched riding breeches, a weatherproof cloak that fastens with a brass hawk-shaped brooch, a wide leather belt with pouches, and one polished black boot. He wears fingerless leather gloves and a faded scarf from his mother's loom.
Body Language
Garric plants his feet like an anchor when speaking, leans forward when listening, and tugs the map-scrap from his armor whenever he is nervous. He seldom makes grand gestures; his hands move in short efficient motions.
