Lysa Vahl
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
A small, energetic tiefling who moves like a spark hopped from one ember to another. Lysa's gestures are always in motion: she pirouettes when she speaks, taps rhythms on surfaces, and leans forward as if about to confide a secret. Her horns curl back like polished ram's horns but are nearly hidden by a cascade of ribbon-braids; the ribbons are stitched with tiny bells that chime if she laughs too hard. She favors slip-on slippers and layered skirts that flare with a practiced theatricality. Unexpectedly, her left eyebrow has been braided into a thin silver chain that loops to a tiny charm shaped like a child's drawing of a ship—an odd, childish relic against her otherwise showy costume. When still she radiates bright warmth; when threatened she tightens like a coiled spring, eyes pinning like a hawk's under a playful gaze.
“Rapid, musical, peppered with stage metaphors and rhetorical flourishes. Lysa softens consonants when comforting and adds a theatrical lilt when performing.”

Distinguishing Features
Curled horns partially hidden by braided ribbons
Silver eyebrow chain with a child's ship charm
Gold freckles across nose and upper chest
Tiny bells woven into hair that chime when she moves quickly
Voice
“Light, bell-toned, with quick enunciation and a honeyed cadence. Lysa laughs easily; when anxious her pitch climbs slightly and she begins a soft hum between words.”
Clothing
Layered performance skirts and fitted vest stitched with tiny mirrors, a short capelet dyed in sunset hues, embroidered fingerless gloves, and worn leather slippers. She hides an inexpensive studded leather strip under her waist sash for a hint of protection. Her belongings are tastefully patched, each patch a souvenir from a town where she performed.
Body Language
Constantly in motion: shoulders that bounce when she laughs, hands that punctuate speech with theater-trained flourishes, and an almost compulsive tendency to lean forward when listening.
