Tsubame Kitsu
Monk (Way of the Open Hand flavor)
Tsubame Kitsu
Species
Kitsune
Appearance
A compact, springy fox-woman who moves like a thrown knot of springs. Her nine tails flare like banners when she laughs. Her fur is a burnished copper that catches light in narrow, metallic highlights; the fur on her forearms and calves is shorter and slicked back as if she is always ready to strike. Her face is broad and boyish rather than delicately foxlike. She wears a half-smile that reads as both daring and unfinished apology. Unexpectedly, one foot is wrapped in a faded child's cloth - a hand-sewn scrap with tiny embroidered stars that clashes with the rest of her austere monk gear.
“Quick, punctuated with playful insults and affectionate nicknames. Softens to direct and low when discussing Lav or the enclave.”

Distinguishing Features
Nine glossy tails that express her mood
A pale crescent scar across her left thigh
Child's embroidered star wrapped around one foot
Voice
“A bright, slightly husky tenor; she laughs loudly and can switch to an ice-cold whisper when issuing commands.”
Clothing
Layered travel-worn monk sash over a sleeveless gi top, cropped trousers tied with cords that tuck into soft tabi. Her sash is patch-worked from cloaks and pouches, each patch telling a story. She wears wrapped handguards blanketed in faint soot from temple incense.
Body Language
Bright, brusque movements that always seem to be finishing a trick; when anxious she taps a tail tip against her thigh; when relaxed she folds into a compact crouch with tails coiling around her like a curtain.
