Appearance
Vaxalla is a hunched, ancient bronze dragonborn whose scales have lost their metallic luster, taking on a dull, verdigris-green patina like weathered copper. She moves with a slow, deliberate shuffle, her claws clicking softly against stone floors. One of her curved horns is snapped off halfway, capped with a silver filigree tip. Her left eye is clouded with a milky cataract, while the right remains a piercing, intelligent amber that seems to look through people rather than at them. She carries a permanent scent of old parchment, dried lavender, and ozone.

Vaxalla wears voluminous robes of heavy indigo silk that have been patched so many times with different fabrics they resemble a quilt. A leather harness over her robes holds dozens of scroll cases, charcoal sticks, and ink pots. Around her neck hangs a heavy brass magnifying glass on a sturdy chain.
Body Language
She constantly adjusts her spectacles and keeps her hands tucked into her sleeves when not writing. She leans forward when interested, narrowing her amber eye.
