Appearance
Marrow has the lean, whip-cord build of a career sailor, with skin the color of wet sand and deeply etched with laugh lines that do not match his dour expression. His most striking feature is his left eye, which is a clouded, milky orb that seems to see through people rather than at them. He moves with a rhythmic, swaying gait as if perpetually countering the roll of a ship. Paradoxically, despite his rugged and salt-crusted exterior, his hands are kept meticulously clean and soft, the tools of a master chef that appear entirely out of place on his weathered frame.
