Zashik 'Zash' Ssil
Rogue
Zashik 'Zash' Ssil
Species
Lizardfolk
Appearance
Zash is an arresting figure who moves like weathered water. He is tall and heavily muscled, scales a mosaic of matte jade and muted teal that catch light in thin bands along his shoulders and spine. Scales over his throat and the undersides of his forearms are finer and almost translucent, revealing faint ridges of muscle beneath. He wears a short, well-fitted chain shirt over a sleeveless leather jerkin stained with swamp mud and travel soot. Leather straps crisscross his chest to hold small pouches, knives, and a coiled fishing line. He favors a pair of short, hooked blades at his hips and keeps a woven reed band around his left wrist filled with tiny carved bone charms. When he stands still he looks statuesque and calm, but his movements are quick, economical, and slightly lizardlike, a combination of predator patience and sudden snap. Contradicting his rugged martial look is a single soft scarf woven from faded blue thread tied around his neck, frayed at the edges and surprisingly clean.
“Measured cadence with a soft rasp; inserts occasional clipped phrases from his trade tongue; uses proverbs from his clan in storytelling.”
