Thalen Vorric
Ranger
Thalen Vorric
Species
Human (river-folk heritage)
Appearance
A narrow-faced man who moves like a shadow shifted across moss. His skin shows faint scars in pale arcs along his right forearm from thorn and rope, each one puckered like a map of old journeys. He keeps his hair shaved on the temples and long at the back, braided with a single strip of green leather. His boots are always dusted with half-baked clay from riverbanks. When he stands in bright sun he seems to squint into it as if testing a memory. Unexpectedly, he wears a single silver child's bell tied inside his cloak hem that rings on rare, deliberate steps.
“Measured and low, with a soft consonant roll from riverside dialects; he names the immediate world often when speaking to ground others.”

Single silver child's bell sewn into cloak hem
Green leather braid in his hair
Voice
“Hushed and steady; he leans words like oars through water and rarely raises his pitch”
Clothing
Studded leather vest over a patched green tunic, a long hooded cloak dyed to resemble river reeds, leather bracers with crude etchings, and mismatched gloves: left fingerless, right full. Boots are high and wrapped with strips of cloth for silence.
Body Language
Light-footed, always angled toward exits; his hands continually busy: tightening straps, rubbing a bead, fingering a string of netting
