Appearance
Kaito Ishikawa is a broad-shouldered, muscular man standing just over six feet tall. His jet-black hair falls thick and straight to his shoulders, usually tied back with a leather thong, contrasting starkly with his piercing icy blue eyes that seem almost to glow like forged steel. His full beard is streaked with early silver, rough but well-kept. Scars pepper his forearms and knuckles, telling stories of past forge accidents and battles alike. His skin is weathered, leathery from years spent at the blazing forge, marked with faint soot stains that never fully wash away. Moving with deliberate, measured steps, there is a surprising grace and precision in his motions, reminiscent of a skilled dancer despite his hulking frame. An unexpected softness shows in his hands which, while large and calloused, handle tools and weapons with remarkable delicacy. When working, he hums low, rhythmic hammering tunes passed down through generations, creating an almost hypnotic trance that draws the heat and spirit deep into the metal he shapes.
“Gruff, measured, few words but laden with meaning. Often pauses thoughtfully before answering.”
