Thrain Forgebeard, the shop’s owner, is rarely seen without his battered smithing gloves and a tankard of strong ale. He’s gruff, but offers unsolicited advice to anyone looking lost around the weapons chamber. The whole shop vibrates with the dull ring of hammers from the ever-busy forge at the back. Finished weapons are displayed on stout oak racks, while more common items are stuffed in barrels or tucked under the counter. Bargainers beware: all prices are as firm as steel.”
