Shop Atmosphere

Calamity Mire runs the shop like a saloon: she speaks in clipped, prospector's metaphors and offers a short 'shot' of information for 2 gp. She keeps her ledger inside a dream jar behind the bar and accepts odd trades (livestock, heirlooms, fragments of song, or outlaw favors). The shop smells of pipe tobacco, moonflowers, and rain on hot iron; a brass mechanical raven perched overhead repeats one phrase ('Pay up or ride out') at noon each day. Regulars get 'moonshine' discounts; strangers may be pestered by a magically animated tumbleweed until they buy something or tell a good lie.
