Shop Atmosphere

The shop is hidden in the abandoned bell tower of the crumbling Valelore manor. The stairs creak in a measured pattern — Marbleclaw trained the floorboards to announce customers by rhythm. The shop is run by awakened animals: Marbleclaw (a cultured cat bard) handles sales, a gruff awakened hedgehog acts as apothecary, a raccoon tinkerer repairs trinkets, and a pair of crows gossip and fetch items. Payment is accepted in standard D&D 5e coin (pp, gp, ep, sp, cp). The animals prefer trade: small curios, shiny trinkets, or a story are often accepted in lieu of full payment. Customers should expect gentle, polite bargaining interrupted by sudden bouts of purring, chirping, or the clack of tiny tools.
