Weapons3

A finely balanced longsword whose blade shivers faintly with the memory of dragonfire. Light vein-like ridges run along the fuller like scales.

Atk On a hit, once per short rest the wielder can ignite the blade to deal an extra fire damage for 1 minute. The ignition sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for another 10 feet.

A heavy greataxe forged in an ancient ruin's scorched forge, its head has veins of a red-hued metal that pulse when near heat.

Atk Rare. The wielder can use an action to expend 1 charge to make the next hit burst in flames, adding fire damage and igniting flammable nonmagical objects. The axe has 3 charges and regains charges at dawn when placed on a stone surface for at least 1 hour.

A small blade hammered from a copper-dark metal found in nearby ruins; keeps an edge better than common steel.

Counts as a finesse weapon. On a sneak attack, the smith claims the metal 'bites deeper' — deal +1 extra damage once per short rest (mundane effect, not magical).
Armor3

Scale mail woven from treated drake scales; lighter and a touch warmer than mundane scale mail, fitted to the chest with brass rivets.

AC +14Grants resistance to cold damage while worn for up to 1 hour per long rest (the smith treated the lining with 'warmth oil').

A sturdy buckler with a face of overlapping scale plates; extremely resilient to heat and acid.

AC +2While wielding, grants advantage on saves against being knocked prone by breath weapons once per long rest.

A breastplate stitched with long dragon-scales harvested from a fallen wyrm in the ruins; warm to the touch and humming faintly with old magics.

AC +16Rare. Grants +1 to AC (included in defenseRating above as magical). Once per day the wearer can invoke Wyrm-Bond to gain advantage on one Charisma (Intimidation) or Wisdom (Perception) check relating to dragons or dragon-kin and resistance to one type of dragon breath damage (chosen when donned) for 10 minutes.
Miscellaneous4

Arrows fletched from kiln-dried bone and feather, their shafts reinforced with a slurry of powdered dragon scale. Mostly used for hunting large beasts.

On a critical hit against beasts or dragons, deals an extra piercing.

A small ingot milled from ore salvaged in the nearby dragon-etched ruins. Brynra keeps a few for special commissions.

When used as a component in forging, grants a +5 gp material value; sometimes imparts minor curiosity to items (DM flavor).

A full set of blacksmith tools—hammers, tongs, portable forge components—kept tidy in an oil-stained leather roll.

Grants advantage on checks to repair or improvise metal items with the GM's permission.

A small tin of salve made from crushed scale dust and binding resins. Used to preserve leather, protect metal from acid, and soothe burns.

Applying to armor grants temporary +1 to saving throws against environmental heat/acid for 8 hours.
Potions2

A warm, ruby-red potion that mends flesh; tastes faintly of smoked plums.

Heal 2 HPHeals HP (standard potion of healing effect).

A vial containing a viscous, copper-colored liquid; drinking it makes skin feel like embers but not burn.

Grants resistance to fire damage for 1 hour.
Miscellaneous1

Brynra will re-edge, straighten, and re-hilt a nonmagical weapon. Long repairs (reshaping, re-tempering) may require keeping the item for days.

Can add a custom rune carving for 2 gp extra (cosmetic unless DM assigns effect).

Shop Atmosphere

Brynra smokes a pipe filled with crushed emberleaf and speaks to her tools as if they were temperamental apprentices. She insists on testing new blades by striking a single ancient rune rock in the ruined plaza behind the shop—she claims the rock 'tells' whether the metal is true. Regular customers occasionally find a tiny ash-scarred scale pinned above the counter; Brynra swaps them for stories of ruins and dragon lore.
