A finely tempered longsteel blade with a pale rune along the fuller. The rune hums faintly when attuned and grants a modest magical edge.

Atk Weapon functions as a +1 weapon while attuned. The rune glows soft blue when undead are nearby (detects presence within 30 ft).

A heavy-headed hammer favored by temple guardians. Sacred runes along the haft resonate with divine energy.

Atk Counts as a holy symbol when used to cast cleric spells that require a focus. Once per long rest, when you hit a fiend or undead, the rune flares and deals an extra radiant damage.

A polished mace whose head contains a crystal that emits holy light when wielded by the faithful.

Atk Counts as a +1 mace. While attuned, the wielder may cast Light at will from the crystal; once per day the wielder may also shed bright light in a 20 ft radius that deals radiant damage to fiends or undead that start their turn in the area (save for half).
Miscellaneous9

A leather-bound grimoire with pages edged in silver. Primarily useful for clerics and those learning divine runes.

Contains three prepared cleric spells (Cure Wounds 1st, Shield of Faith 1st, Lesser Restoration 2nd). A cleric who studies the book for 8 hours can copy one of the included spells into their own book or notes without expending a prepared spell slot — usable once; the spell then fades from the grimoire until the following dawn.

A vellum scroll with a simple rune of mending. Single-use scroll for clerical healing.

Single casting of Cure Wounds (1st-level). If read by someone who can't cast cleric spells, the scroll is useless.

A crackling script enclosed in a glassine sheath. The rune on the header glows like lightning.

Single casting of Guiding Bolt. Grants advantage on the next attack against the target if it hits.

A parchment sealed with white wax and a cleansing rune. Useful for diseases and debilitating conditions.

Single casting of Lesser Restoration. Removes one disease or one condition (blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned).

A flat iron rune-plate etched with a transient glyph. When affixed to a weapon (takes 1 minute), it pops into place and grants a small enchantment.

Atk Temporarily grants +1 to attack and damage rolls for a mundane weapon for 24 hours or until discharged. The rune cracks and becomes inert after use.

A wooden box of chisels, inks, heated irons, and small lenses used to inscribe minor runes and repair enchantments.

Grants advantage on Intelligence (Arcana) checks to identify or perform minor runework; required to scribe, maintain, or safely remove single-use runes without damaging the host item.

A vial of shimmering silver ink used for writing divine spells or blessed scrolls.

Required to scribe cleric spell scrolls or create holy sigils; gives a bonus to DC for checks to copy a cleric spell into a new book (applies only while using this ink). Lasts to scribe up to two 1st-level spells or one 2nd-level spell.

A tattered handbook filled with practical prayers, ritual rubrics, and a few scribbled spells useful to lower-level clerics and acolytes.

Contains useful ritual notes (Ceremony, Spare the Dying as a ritual reference) and one copy each of Bless (1st-level outline) and Shield of Faith (1st-level) as documented rituals — permits a cleric to prepare one extra 1st-level cleric spell if studied for 8 hours.

A small assortment of flourishes: chalk, vials of holy water (empty), incense sticks, quills, and strips of parchment. Useful for ritual casting and scribing.

Contains material components worth up to 5 gp. Holy water must be consecrated before use (Merrin offers consecration for an extra 5 gp).

The shop smells faintly of wax, iron, and frankincense; runes on the walls shift position once a week to rearrange the layout of shelves by their own will (not dangerous, just annoying). Merrin offers to inscribe one free minor rune per customer per season if they bring a story of how the rune will be used.
