Weapons4

A nicked shortsword whose pommel is wrapped in a faded ribbon. Serviceable edge, balance slightly off from a repaired chip.

Nonmagical. The blade bears an engraved initial 'J.' on the ricasso.

A longbow whose limbs show many repairs. A faded insignia of a hunter's guild is burned into the grip.

Range 150/600 ft (typical longbow). A string knot near the nock has a tiny sewn-in scrap of parchment with a name.

A throw-net woven with fine cold-iron filaments. The mesh is stiff and slightly colder to the touch.

Functions like a net. The cold-iron threads are prized against fey and some outsiders (flavor — no mechanical bonus unless DM rules otherwise).

A finely balanced dagger etched with a tiny star and wrapped in a scrap of a theatre ticket. Edge hums faintly in moonlight.

Atk +1 to attack and damage rolls when used (magic weapon). The dagger faintly warms when near lost trinkets.
Armor4

A patchwork chain shirt assembled from two different hauberks. Rust spots and one strap has a stamped postal mark.

AC +13

A battered wooden shield with a hairline crack across one board; the handle's buckle is missing but the boss holds firm.

AC +2

A green cloak with dozens of tiny sewn-in patches. The trim is frayed but the clasp is solid brass.

Functions as Cloak of Protection: wearer gains bonus to AC and saving throws while wearing.

A dented iron helm with a postmark stamped across the inside brim. Practical and warm.

Potions2

A small corked vial of red-brown liquid. The label is handwritten: 'For when things go south.'

Heal 7 HPHeals HP when consumed (standard D&D 5E potion of healing).

A heavier glass phial with deep crimson liquid. The cork bears the dent of a coin.

Heal 14 HPHeals HP when consumed (greater healing).
Miscellaneous5

A dusty bag whose mouth is lined with a torn piece of map. The interior is improbably deep and smells of old leather.

Bag of Holding (standard D&D 5e). Holds up to 500 lb, 64 cu ft; extrudes an odd scent of vanished things.

A dozen arrows — some fletchings are feathers, some are tin. Enough to get you through a few hunts.

A coil of rope with a small carved bead attached to one end — probably used as a keepsake by the previous owner.

A solid iron hook; handmade and stained with salt. The rope is not included.

A tiny pouch of useful bits: two nails, five screws of different lengths, three buttons, one washer.

Miscellaneous1

A single iron gauntlet with a hollow cuff. Small scratches form the impression of dozens of teeth.

Once per day the gauntlet cools and releases a small, ordinary key that the wearer once lost (DM determines which key). The key is mundane and opens simple locks of the same type.

Shop Atmosphere

The shop is a cluttered maze of stacked crates, draped cloaks, and boxes labeled with cities that no longer exist. Ssirith moves with serpentine grace through the piles, offering bargains in a soft hiss and often asking if you 'lost something recently' before revealing a hidden item. Every full moon the shop fills briefly with new items that appear at the edges of shelves — Ssirith calls it 'the tide of missing things.' Customers often barter stories or lost trinkets instead of coin; Ssirith keeps a ledger of names and a tiny brass bell that rings when someone new steps inside. Beware the tiny, inquisitive snakes in a glass jar by the counter — Ssirith says they 'fetch what wandered underfoot' for a price.
