Kha'ru's cart smells of sun-warmed leather and frankincense. He tends the stall like a cat tends a sunny ledge: patient, alert, and prone to sudden pounces on good deals. He counts coin with a soft rumbling purr and will often offer a discount in exchange for a short tale of travel or a particularly clever riddle. Trinkets dangle from the cart's awning — each one has a little placard with a name and 'origin story' (some factual, some invented). Kha'ru will insist on polishing any item you inspect, smoothing his mane all the while.
