Brug Stonehand
Shop Atmosphere
“Stonehand Armaments sits under a slate roof on a crooked lane. The shop smells of coal, oil, and the citrus polish Brug uses on finished blades. Brass hooks display weapons in tidy rows; a low anvil and bellows hum in the back room. Brug Stonehand is a squat mountain of a dwarf with burn-freckled forearms and a laugh that rattles the rafters. He speaks quickly, in a rolling brogue, and insists you try the grip on any blade before buying. He stamps each sale with a tiny rune-of-quality in the leather of his sheaths. Brug offers apprentices a free whetstone with purchases over 5 gp and will barter repair work for a meal to help out true newcomers.”
