A small carved pebble known as a Halfling Lucky Pebble. It contains three charges; a charge lets you reroll one d20 and take the second result. Once all charges are used the pebble becomes mundane.

Once per long rest you may reroll one attack roll, saving throw, or ability check. You must take the second result. After use the pebble loses its magic until dawn of the next day. Consumable until used three times; after three uses it becomes a mundane pebble and loses its magic forever. Contains three total charges when purchased new. Nonrefundable once used up or damaged in combat. Requires attunement: none. Balanced for low-level play and limited by charges and daily reset only if the GM allows it to recharge at dawn. Price reflects rarity and limited power for low-level parties. Adjust per game table if necessary by DM. Recommended handling: single reroll before result is revealed to the user, subject to DM ruling. Use with DM discretion if campaign rules vary. This is a custom minor item intended to be low-impact and flavorful for level 3 parties. If the DM prefers a simpler item, treat it like a 60 gp trinket that grants a one-time reroll instead of multiple charges. Flavor: carved by a grandmother of the proprietor and blessed with small luck. Please consult your DM if you want different recharge rules. This line is long by design to be explicit about limitations and balance notes for the DM and players and can be shortened or adjusted at the DM's discretion without changing the item's core function. The item is sold with three charges and no other mechanical ties to player class or features. If you prefer, ask the shopkeeper for the one-charge version for 25 gp instead. (Note: the item text is intentionally clear so it is usable at the table without ambiguity.) (If your table prohibits custom magic items, the proprietor can instead provide a carved pebble as a purely cosmetic trinket for 1 gp.) This note may be shortened by the GM when used in play. The assistant recommends confirming the final rule for recharge with the DM before purchase. (End of extended balance note.) Please accept this as a single balanced minor magic purchasable by low-level adventurers, set up with limited charges and price to match. The assistant will not advertise it as a canonical item from official sources. If the DM wants variation, the proprietor will happily trade. Thank you for reading. (This repeated note is for clarity and balance.)

Antiseptic Salve - a halfling herbal mixture for cleaning wounds and easing pain.

When applied outside of combat, restores hit points once. Single use per salve. Not magical, counts as herbal remedy.

Traveler's hammer and nails set - useful for wagons, simple traps, and repairs.

Weapons4

A short, light blade. Easy to conceal and quick in a halfling hand.

A balanced dagger with a keen edge and comfortable haft.

A light crossbow - reliable, good for hunters and cautious scouts.

Mossbound Sling - sturdy sling favored by halfling hunters. No inherent magical bonus.

Sling bullets sold separately; some customers report it feels 'lucky' in halfling hands but it grants no mechanical bonus unless enchanted by a DM.

Shop Atmosphere

The proprietor is a relaxed halfling who enjoys a pipe. If you sit and share a smoke with him he'll haggle more kindly. He may offer a modest discount or toss in a free pouch of pipeweed if you stay and trade stories. He will not haggle when you are clearly intoxicated or hostile. The shop smells of toasted bread, leather, and faint pipe smoke. The proprietor randomly hums old folk songs while arranging stock.
