Shop Atmosphere

Helga hums old dwarven work-songs while she works and keeps a sleeping mastiff named Sparks under the counter. She gives discounts to customers who bring damaged gear she can repair on the spot (sharpening for 1 sp; minor armor repairs 2–5 gp). She refuses to sell more than three explosive or alchemical items to a single buyer unless they leave a trustworthy contact in town. Hours: dawn to dusk; Sundays she closes early to quarry iron from a nearby patron.
