Shop Inventory
(15)A full set of hammers, tongs, chisels and files preserved in a leather roll. Song-tempering grooves are visible on several pieces.
A set of tongs painstakingly shaped and song-tempered; they bite true and never slip a hot piece.
A tightly bound sack of slow-burning coal mined from local volcanic seams. Sparks with a faint warmth.
A small vial of shimmering crystalline salt — Mira's experimental blend. Use with caution.
A well-crafted wooden lute—good tone and balanced for travel performances.
A lute strung with fine wire tempered in Tharaz-Quul's forge-song. The strings faintly glow red at the edges when played.
A finely balanced longsword, its fuller traced with runic notations that vibrate faintly when the wielder hums.
A small, well-balanced dagger hot-forged and quenched to a black-orange sheen.
A round shield hammered from brassed steel; faint heat runs along its rim, and small motifs of coiled wyrms are stamped into it.
A breastplate whose scales are hammered thin and resonant; the metal seems tuned to a single low note.
A small vial of red liquid that mends minor wounds.
A slightly warm vial sealed with wax; a viscous, deeper-red liquid inside.
Feathered arrows whose shafts are inlaid with thin strips of tuned metal. They hum faintly when drawn.
A small steel fork tuned to Tharaz-Quul's signature note. Useful for tuning instruments and aligning resonant metalwork.
Tharaz-Quul will perform a day-long song-tempering ritual to harden and balance a weapon or piece of armor.

Shop Atmosphere
“The forge is half-shop, half-stage: Tharaz-Quul frequently interrupts work to sing old Ember-Kraal forging songs, and customers leave with a small lyric stamped into receipts. The shop smells of hot metal, pipe-smoke, and citrus (a habit from river-town trade). Several items display tiny coiled wyrm motifs — a subtle signature Tharaz-Quul learned from their aunt. Mira, the eager apprentice, slips out to experiment behind a curtain and sometimes leaves strange soot marks on goods; she's idolized and sometimes oversteps safety, creating minor magical flares (Tharaz-Quul hushes them up). Gornak of the Iron Anchor periodically drops by 'to appraise' and leaves with a thin-sounding compliment (and sometimes a bent horseshoe). The town council is lobbying to requisition the Songforge for mass production of militia gear — something Tharaz-Quul vocally opposes. Unbeknownst to all patrons, Tharaz-Quul secreted a warm, unhatched wyrmling egg ('the ember') somewhere within the shop's foundations; it has been growing noticeably warmer each moon and draws curious, dangerous attention. Customers can usually bargain with a short performance — Tharaz-Quul values a good song and fair trade over raw coin.”
