Potions3

A vial of ruby-red liquid that mends flesh. Common and trusted in the Underdark for patching up expedition wounds.

Heal 8 HPHeals HP when consumed (standard potion of healing).

A heavier vial, cloudy and faintly warmed, to staunch deeper wounds.

Heal 20 HPHeals HP when consumed (greater healing).

A grey salve that hardens the skin of a limb temporarily, useful to resist scrapes and cold stone.

When applied (takes an action), the targeted limb or hand gains resistance to cold and slashing damage for 1 hour. 3 uses per jar.
Miscellaneous6

Chalk made from crushed marble and powdered basalt. Useful for marking rock, drawing glyph templates, or scribing temporary sigils.

Marks last several days on stone surfaces; washes off with magic or abrasive scraping.

A well-scribed scroll in deep grey ink. Useful for incapacitating humanoid foes — practical in a duergar city where trouble is common.

Single-use spell scroll of Hold Person (2nd-level). A spellcaster must succeed on an ability check using their spellcasting ability to cast if the spell is not on their list.

A rune-heavy scroll used to remodel small sections of stone — handy for quick cover, traps, or reshaping a passage.

Grants single casting of Stone Shape. Especially effective on natural stone in the Underdark.

A pouch of fine grey dust that gives surfaces extra traction when tossed, useful to prevent slips on slick fungus or polished duergar stone.

Each pinch grants nonmagical surfaces +2 to Dexterity checks to avoid slipping for 1 minute; also grants advantage on checks to hold onto climbing surfaces once.

A heavy vellum scroll with a single rune. Rarely used outside tunneling operations and emergency escapes.

Single-use casting of Meld into Stone (4th-level). Kormag warns: the scroll is fragile and will crumble if cast while stressed ( Int check to avoid losing the spell).

Simple bag of crushed basalt used as abrasive, filler, or ritual dust.

When used as improvised material components for stone-related spells, grants a +1 on spellcasting checks.
Miscellaneous3

A smooth sliver of igneous stone set in heavy iron. Worn by those who journey through collapsing tunnels.

AC +1Wearer gains bonus to AC while standing on natural stone or within 10 feet of exposed rock. Once per long rest, can stabilize an area to prevent a single cave-in for up to 1 hour.

Two matching polished stones that faintly reverberate when close. A simple, guarded means of communication within the tunnels.

Functions like a Sending Stone: one inhabitant can speak into one stone and another hears it in the paired stone up to 6 miles (stone miles underground are shorter); limited to 10 words per use and 1 use per hour.

A palm-sized hollow geode that radiates a comforting coolness. Travelers rest beneath its presence to ease aches and restore endurance.

Once per long rest, when placed under a sleeping creature, it grants the benefits of a short rest in 30 minutes (regaining Hit Dice as if a short rest).
Weapons2

A heavy quarterstaff carved from petrified oak and veined with mica. Balanced for a strong wielder, its weight carries the might of the hills.

Atk On a hit, once per short rest the wielder can attempt to topple a creature of size Medium or smaller; the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

A compact warhammer etched with ancient stone-giant runes. It hums softly and is heavier than it looks.

Atk On a critical hit, the hammer deals an extra thunder damage as the runes resonate. Additionally, once per long rest it can cast Thunderwave at 1st level (save ).
Armor1

A heavy bracer inlaid with pebble-like gems. Grants a stoic steadiness favored by cave-rovers.

AC +1Wearer gains +1 to AC (counts as a magic item). Once per long rest, can reroll a failed Strength (Athletics) check and must take the new roll.
Miscellaneous1

A reinforced leather gauntlet with pockets for small stones; lets the wearer fling pebbles as if thrown with uncanny force.

Atk As a bonus action, the wearer can fling a specially prepared pebble that counts as a magic missile equivalent against constructs and stone-based creatures (deals force damage). Holds up to 6 pebbles, refilled by Kormag for 5 gp per 6.
Miscellaneous1

A short, heavy cloak woven with powdered shale that dulls sound.

While wearing the cloak with the hood up, the wearer has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to move silently on stone surfaces. Once per long rest, the wearer can dampen sound in a 10-foot radius for 1 minute (all stealth checks gain advantage and forced perception checks suffer disadvantage).

Shop Atmosphere

Kormag speaks in slow, deliberate tones and punctuates bargains with a stone knock on the counter. He insists on all trades being sealed with a scrap of bright cloth or a stamped pebble (a local duergar custom he adopted). The shop's front is carved to look like a giant's mouth; inside, small stone effigies peek from shelves and every item is catalogued in a ledger written in both Giant and Undercommon. Kormag is unusually proud of provenance — he will tell the exact ledgers and tunnels any stone came from and will refuse to sell certain items after dusk unless the buyer leaves a talon-sized deposit.
