Shop Atmosphere
“Torgar hammers a steady rhythm—when he's happy the pattern is jaunty; when displeased it turns slow and heavy. He speaks to the anvil more than to patrons and will offer tea or a shot of whisky to anyone who listens to an old dwarf's forge stories. The shop is warm even on cold nights; a small plaque over the forge reads 'Anvil remembers, fire forgives.' Torgar refuses to sell plate off-the-shelf (he crafts plate to fit and will lecture anyone who asks for 'one-size' armor). If you bring him a metal trinket and a good story, he'll often offer a discount or a small embellishment free of charge.”
