A full leather roll with hammer, files, tongs, punches and small portable anvil pieces. Essential for metalworking and repairs.

A stout hammer for forging and shaping metal. Well-balanced, with a hardened head.

Long, riveted tongs for handling hot metal safely.

A set of iron horseshoes, fitted and nailed by the smith.

Heavier, riveted shoes with a thicker iron band and leather padding for long journeys and rough terrain.

Reduces chance of lameness in difficult terrain; DM may grant advantage on Animal Handling checks to keep mount sound on harsh ground.

Simple iron-headed arrows, well-fletched.

A plain leather quiver with strap; holds about 20 arrows comfortably.

Permanently warm bellows that keep a forge's coals at steady temperature with a whisper. Torgar made one for the shop decades ago.

Keeps forge at optimal temperature without tending; when used in crafting metalwork, reduces forging time (and may grant advantage on one relevant Smith's Tools check) — DM adjudicates exact effect.

A thick, silvery oil that forms a protective film over metal surfaces.

Prevents rust and corrosion on a single suit of armor or weapon for up to 1 month. Grants advantage on maintenance checks while in effect.

A thorough cleaning, edge reprofile, and stabilization for a single weapon.

Minor buff at GM discretion: grants +1 circumstance bonus to attack rolls with that weapon for one day for skilled work; otherwise cosmetic.

Needles, rivets, leather patches and waxed thread for field repairs to armor.

Two-handed blade, heavy and brutal when wielded by a strong hand.

A smith's favorite repurposed for battle; square-faced head with counterweight.

Good for armored foes.

Throwing-capable axe, sturdy haft and sharp head.

Can be thrown (range 20/60).

A masterfully balanced longsword tempered in Torgar's special quench. It hums faintly when drawn.

Shop Atmosphere

Torgar hammers a steady rhythm—when he's happy the pattern is jaunty; when displeased it turns slow and heavy. He speaks to the anvil more than to patrons and will offer tea or a shot of whisky to anyone who listens to an old dwarf's forge stories. The shop is warm even on cold nights; a small plaque over the forge reads 'Anvil remembers, fire forgives.' Torgar refuses to sell plate off-the-shelf (he crafts plate to fit and will lecture anyone who asks for 'one-size' armor). If you bring him a metal trinket and a good story, he'll often offer a discount or a small embellishment free of charge.
