Shop Atmosphere
“The shop smells of ozone, rosemary, and burnt sugar. Shelves clink with labeled glass vials; a slow brazier simmers in the back. Bromli whistles tunelessly and tastes every new batch (politely declining customers' offers to try). He insists on counting bubbles in any freshly made potion before sale and will trade a small discount for odd reagents (dragonfly wings, quicksilver, a pinch of salt from a distant sea). He habitually polishes a single brass alembic when nervous and keeps a tame newt named Sprocket under a bell jar.”
