Weapons2

A perfectly balanced shortsword of darkened steel; the fuller is spider-web etched. Commonly used by drow warriors and scouts.

Superior balance for finesse use; nonmagical.

A small, reliable crossbow favored in cramped tunnels. Lightweight, blackened metal work and a silenced trigger.

Compact — easy to conceal; reads as a standard hand crossbow.
Miscellaneous1

A small, razor dagger dipped in a fast-acting drow spider venom. Sold singly — each is coated and meant for one strike.

On hit: target must succeed on a Constitution save or take poison damage and be poisoned for 1 minute. Save ends on a successful check at the end of each of the target's turns.
Miscellaneous1

A rapier tempered in the black-light forges of the Underdark. It hums faintly and seems to drink nearby light.

Atk Magic +1 weapon. While the wielder is in dim light or darkness, they gain a bonus to Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
Miscellaneous1

A compact, expertly balanced repeating hand crossbow with a hidden reservoir for special ammunition.

Atk Counts as a +1 weapon for attack and damage. Holds up to 10 bolts; does not require reloading until empty. Once per long rest, the wielder can fire a single venom bolt that deals an extra poison damage; target must make a Constitution save or be poisoned for 1 minute.
Miscellaneous2

Studded leather woven from treated spidersilk. Dark as cave-sky, whisper-quiet and surprisingly protective.

AC +13Functions as studded leather armor. While attuned, it grants +1 to the wearer's Armor Class in addition to the normal studded leather AC.

Leather bracers stitched with spider-silk ligatures and faint rune-work. They hum softly when danger is near.

While attuned and wearing no armor, the wearer gains a bonus to AC (similar in function to Bracers of Defense).
Miscellaneous1

A cloak of tightly woven spidersilk that seems to soak up light and sound around its wearer.

As Cloak of Elvenkind: the wearer has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide, and creatures relying on sight to find the wearer have disadvantage when the wearer is obscured by dim light or darkness.
Potions1

A small crystalline vial containing a viscous red liquid that mends wounds.

Heal 7 HPHeals hit points when consumed.
Miscellaneous1

A sealed vial of concentrated venom harvested from Underdark cavern spiders. Potent and dangerous.

Applied to a weapon or delivered via injury: target must make a Constitution save or take poison damage and be poisoned for 1 minute. Save at end of each of the target's turns to end the poisoned condition early.
Miscellaneous2

A length of spidersilk rope: supple, near-silent, and stronger than ordinary hemp. Dark gray, nearly invisible in shadow.

Counts as superior rope for climbing checks; less likely to snap from abrasion under normal conditions.

A padded quiver lined with spidersilk that muffles nocked arrows and keeps them dry and untangled.

Holds up to 60 arrows or 20 crossbow bolts. Arrows drawn from this quiver are considered muffled for stealth purposes (grants a small bonus to Stealth checks when firing from covert positions).
Miscellaneous1

A hand-held mechanical launcher that fires a hooked grapnel and reels a spool of silken line. Useful for quick vertical access in caverns.

Fires up to 60 feet; the grapple attaches to stone, wood, or similar surfaces. The spool contains 50 ft of spidersilk rope. Using it requires a short setup; improper attachment may fail at the DM's discretion.

Shop Atmosphere

The armory sits in a wide pocket cavern lined with phosphorescent fungi and swathes of spider-silk curtains. Webs hang like drapes and blunted spider mandibles are mounted like trophies. Illythra speaks in a soft, sibilant voice and prefers barter: rare fungi, gemstones, or particularly fine steel earn discounts. She refuses to sell lethal poisons to open-palmed clerics or surface-dwelling priests without a demonstrated need. Customers are expected to remove all gourds and bright items at the door — Illythra will call out offending lights with a rude hiss. She sometimes offers 'favors' (small locksmithing or infiltration tips) for those who buy expensive gear, and always insists on checking identity and intent for high-grade venom or enchanted weaponry.
